But one of the elders said, "Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David has prevailed to open the scroll and loose its seven seals." - Revelations 5:5

Are you living in the last days? Interesting thought here... I have heard this question asked for almost 30 years. Is Jesus coming this year?

Is the coming of the Lord near?

I was around when all the great prophets prophesied about when Israel became a nation in 1948, that therefore, this generation would not pass away until they saw the return of the Lord. So this put the return of the Lord in 1988, because we all knew a generation was 40 years. Oh yeah, then we had to back out the 7 dreadful years of tribulation, because we would never have had to go through any tribulation while on this earth...

I always found this interesting, also, because when Jesus prayed He told us to rejoice in trials and tribulations, and also, when He prayed to the Father in John 17, Jesus specifically asked  the Father to leave the disciples  in the world.

Anyway, when we backed the 7 years of tribulation out, we were all looking at some time in 1981.  This was the year I graduated from high school. i was told, "You will never see your graduation."  Well, I must say, it is only a memory now. 1981 was a long time ago. The great prophets said then the only question that had to be answered then was, how long was a generation?

They missed it there. Well, we are now in 2006, 58 years later, and some are still trying to pick the day--- no they will say they can pick the year. Then, oh yeah, it was the turn of the century, the great Y-2K--- 2000A.D.  at 12:am, (POOF!) we were all gone! Some had their bath tubs filled with water, and the rice bags hidden away safely. I can just see the Lord  watching us. Amazing right? Then it is the black heifer--- or the black Jews going back to Israel--- no, it is the wars--- no, rumors of wars.

When are the last days? Are you living in the last days? I know absolutely when Jesus is coming back. Yes sir, I know the hour specifically. Jesus himself told us this--- He is coming in the hour that you think HE is not going to come, "in the hour you thinketh not, the Son of Man cometh." (Luke 12:40)

So, what time is the most important time in our life  to us?  The bible clearly states that a evil and perverted generation seeks after a sign. Why do so many today seek after the signs then? 2 Timothy 4:2-4   "Preach the word. Be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exort with great patience and instruction. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;  but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires; and will turn their ears away from the truth, and will turn aside to myths." Now let me ask you again--- are you living in the last days? Is time short?

Please look at Hebrews 5:7. It says this, " In the time of His flesh... " See, i believe this is the most important time or season for each one of alive on this earth. It is a time frame, or you could say a season, that is called "the time in your flesh". See, it is appointed for a man or woman to live so long. Each generation since the resurrection of our Lord ( 2,000 years ago) has been given so many years on this earth. How many do you have left? Is time short for you? Are you in half time, or are you in the fourth quarter, or are you in the 2 minute drill?  Please look at the obituaries tomorrow.  i guarantee the page will be filled with names of people whose last days were just recently completed. No spectacular prophecies--- just the end of their life.

See, each one of you will die, or should I say--- graduate, to your eternal home. Everyone who has ever lived on this earth has a eternal home. Do you know where yours is? See, you only have two choices, heaven or hell. The most important time is this season that is called "the time in your flesh".

When we speak of the great men and women of God that lived thousands and thousands of years ago, what do you remember? You do not think of what they accomplished in heaven over the last 1,000 years. No, you are mindful of what they accomplished in "the days of their flesh ." What did they do while on this earth?

See, when you move on to that eternal home, then it is too late. You can not do anything more. Your season then is a new one, and your time in the flesh is over. You can not do it again. We all just get one chance. What have you done for Jesus? Are you living your life for Him?  How are you living the " days of your flesh"?

I say this, let's be ready in season and out of season. Live like Jesus could come in the hour you think not. See, He himself said He would come as a thief in the night. Why? Because no one knows when the thief is coming--- he comes when you least expect it.

So keep this in mind and live each day as though it was your last, because it just might be. I say stay sanctified, separated , and committed. Serve the Lord with this expectancy each and every day. I hope to see each one who ever reads this in heaven some day.  Love and God bless.
